Upon reflection, my three words seem a bit driven.  I’m already rather Type A.  So, to provide balance, I’d like to offer these three words:

I am fortunate enough to do what I love and love what I do.  Success is not only in achieving your dreams, but in relishing the process of achievement.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, prosperous, and successful New Year!

  1. Hey, Leslie 🙂 I’m not one to mark my long-term goals or intentions by years, whether it be New Year’s resolutions, or by a certain age, etc.), but putting the “2013” aspect aside, I do like the idea of goal-setting. I don’t think we accomplish many worthwhile things without them. I think dreaming (of things we want to achieve or be) and goal-setting go hand in hand. I also think we must be driven in order to achieve, but if we don’t enjoy the journey while we’re at it—what’s the point?

So, my dear, I think you ultimately got it straight 🙂

And it’s timely you should post about this today because a friend of mine made me aware of a book I might like (she was right). I more than like it 🙂 It’s called “Dream” by Susan V. Bosak. My friend shared it with me and now I’ll share it with you, through a few youtube videos:

    Enjoy the journey! 😀
